Gupta began his journey with numerology at the age of 15. “I started learning numerology when I was 15 years old. What initially attracted me to it was the challenge it presented. Interestingly, I was never particularly fond of mathematics, so exploring a subject that revolved around numbers felt like stepping outside my comfort zone,” he recalled.
As his studies deepened, he recognised numbers’ broader significance. “As I began studying numerology, I discovered that numbers are not just mathematical symbols; they can also be interpreted as tools for understanding personality, life patterns, and human behavior. This curiosity gradually developed into a profound interest, and numerology became one of the modalities I chose to study and practice,” he explained.
In practical terms, Gupta describes numerology as a system offering valuable insights. “According to numerology, numbers are symbolic representations of different energies and life patterns. Practitioners believe that numerology can help individuals gain deeper self-awareness and better understand various aspects of their lives, including personality traits and behavioral tendencies; natural strengths and weaknesses; life purpose and innate talents; relationship compatibility and dynamics; career inclinations and professional growth; and important life cycles, opportunities, and challenges,” he detailed.
The true benefit, according to Gupta, lies in application. “Many people use numerology as a tool for self-reflection and personal development. It encourages individuals to become more conscious of their choices and align their actions with their strengths and goals,” he noted.
He emphasised the pervasive presence of numbers in daily life. “We use them constantly through date of birth, age, time, financial transactions, addresses, phone numbers, measurements, calendars, and schedules.” Beyond their practical utility, Gupta believes numbers carry energetic qualities. He outlined traditional associations: 1 represents leadership and independence; 2 signifies cooperation and relationships; 3 embodies creativity and expression; 4 denotes stability and structure; 5 symbolises freedom and adaptability; 6 reflects responsibility and harmony; 7 indicates wisdom and introspection; 8 stands for power and achievement; and 9 represents compassion and humanitarianism.
“Whether one views numerology as a spiritual science or a symbolic system, numbers undeniably play a fundamental role in organizing and understanding everyday life,” he observed.
When asked about determining “lucky numbers,” Gupta clarified the methodical process involved. “In numerology, a person’s favorable or ‘lucky’ numbers are usually determined through a detailed analysis of their birth number, life path number, destiny or expression number, and name number. A professional numerologist studies the relationship between these numbers before suggesting favorable numbers, dates, colors, or periods. Therefore, a lucky number is not chosen randomly; it is calculated based on an individual’s personal numerological chart,” he concluded.
Gupta’s perspective highlights the growing interest in numerology as a complementary approach to self-understanding in today’s fast-paced world. By framing numbers as guides rather than mere calculations, he offers a thoughtful bridge between ancient wisdom and modern personal development practices.
Through his multifaceted work as a healer and numerologist, Ayush Gupta continues to help individuals harness numerical insights for greater clarity, purpose, and alignment in their personal and professional lives.
